Information Technology Technician

Position Functions: Responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of all computer/network hardware, software, phone, and audio-visual equipment. Assure software/hardware operability to enhance employee job performance and smooth city services operation. Maintain certification and continuing education for all technologies.

Works to assure the smooth operation of the city computer network and individual workstations, both hardware and software. City services affected by computers are to be given top priority. Maintain and work with phone services and computer services. Assist the Frisco Center with audio-visual set-up and troubleshooting. This is a full-time position with benefits, and retirement.

Required Qualifications

• Certification in computer repair & networking
• Valid Driver’s License
• High school graduate
• Pre-employment physical, drug screen & criminal history check
• Some work experience
• Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college or vo-tech
• College graduate
