Position Title: Exec Asst/Deputy City Clerk/Grants Coordinator
The CITY OF CLINTON is taking applications for Exec Asst/Deputy City Clerk/Grants Coordinator. This is a full-time position with benefits. Required: Secretarial Training/Education. Competent computer/computer software skills. Good oral and written communication/public relation skills. Applicant must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal history check.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business/Public Administration, proven public relations skills. 5 yrs executive clerical experience, Municipal gov't experience, including grants.
Required Skills for job retention: Excellent written and oral communication skills, Process document and manage records accurately and efficiently, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat and INCODE. Good public relations, self-motivated; can work independently and/or team projects. Handle confidential information which requires discretion and diplomacy. Ability to multitask, as needed, to complete work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
